  Enjoyed our evening at cats. We had five children and 4 adults. Very entertaining nice setting. Food was average. Children's plates were cold when they got to the table. Ours were fine but not special. We did wait about 2 hours maybe one and a half hours to get served. Glad we went don't know that we would return

  Dragonfly offers a pleasant environment, but its food selection is only slightly better than average.
  
  Here's the thing: the menu looks creative, and there are certainly plenty of different taste combinations that look appealing. The weakness is in execution, since everything we've tried there has been a bit of a disappointment. We tried the lamb skewer and the pork osso bucco and found them both to be somewhat bland.
  
  The restaurant serves French and American entrees, but it appears it's trying too hard to mesh those differing styles.
  
  The result is as bland as the food, and not worth the trip to South Padre.
