  My waiter was great but cooking staff serviced burnt crab Rangoons and the Manager states that that's how they come. I was at that point insulted. I'm a foodie. This wasn't my first rodeo and at that location. So I didn't get what I wanted, I must say that my mouth was watering for that.

  Was looking for a buffet for lunch just for a quick bite and Golden crown came up. Once there, I realized there was no buffet, but decided to try it anyway as it had positive reviews. The decor is standard chinese restaurant, a little dated, but ok.
  They have lunch specials that included soup and egg roll, had Hunan chicken and shrimp and I was impressed. Everything was very fresh and the flavors are as you would hope. Most chinese restaurants just drown everything in a brown soy based sauce, not here, you could tell it was cooked to order and as I ate the seasonings(soy/ginger/pepper/salt/garlic) could all be tasted. Service was prompt and courteous, meats and veggies were perfect and a good portion. Egg drop soup was excellent. And the eggroll came out hot and crispy. Iced tea was also fresh. I am from out of town, but will come back next time Corpus
