- 5 / 5By Kinzington McElvainSo, I came in from Austin and was looking for a good lunch spot. I was told we should go here, so alas, we did. The menu is extensive, but not overly so. The food was on point... the Cubano was the perfect blend of juicy and savory, and was cooked perfectly. All of the food was real and you could tell it was handled with care. I even got to talk to the owner who has an outstanding passion for what he does. There's definitely love behind the food.
The environment is a winner here. You don't find places like this in Corpus Christi; and I'm not sure if it's because people are afraid to venture out, or just don't care about the food they eat. Everyone deserves good food... I'm looking forward to seeing how the scene in CC evolves in the coming years because of places like this!
The service was awesome as well. No complaints.
Honestly, if I lived in Corpus Christi, I'd be here nearly daily. You should go. Check it out. I recommend it.June 06, 2016
