  Although this place closed down and this review is rather late, this place always had the best vegan food and vegan dessert.
  Seriously the only place that I enjoyed eating out at!
  It's hard being vegan and living in this city.
  Definitely miss this restaurant.
  
  Edit: saw someone bought the place and they only have tea and coffee. Absolutely no food whatsoever.
  Super bummed considering there are many places that do that and it's nothing special.
  Wish someone would have taken over and continued the awesome food prior at The Tango Tea Room.

  Every Wednesday my co-host Courtney and I go to the Tango Tea Room for our Open Mic Poetry nights at 7:00pm, and every night thus far has been a success. The environment there is superb along with their staff. I am blessed to have the connection I do with them. AND there food and tea is A W E S O M E.

  I have been a customer at the Tango Tea Room for years. Today, I went to purchase some tea for my coworkers and I. There was a shortage of tea and although I had asked what other options I had as far as tea flavors went, I wasn't really given any aside from the "teas of the day."
  
  I was given samples and purchased three to-go cups for my coworkers and I. This is where I became a little peeved. There were no sugar packets of any kind to take with me so I was given three sample sized cups of sugar. Which is fine by me; I just can't understand why a restaurant that specializes in tea wouldn't have sugar packets of any kind. Which brings me to my second concern, there were no carrying-cup-holders for to go orders either. Maybe it's a petty and irrelevant complaint but I would think this establishment would have options like these for their customers.
  
  Otherwise, TTR is a nice play to enjoy great tea and a lovely atmosphere - as long as you aren't attempting to take anything to-go.
